Brian Carmines Sought as Puppynapper

Many years ago "word on the water" was that Calabash, North Carolina, was home to the finest hushpuppies that could be found anywhere.

That word caught Our Glorious Leader's attention. One winter day. Brian and his father traveled north to this small, coastal town and traded some bottles of fine whiskey for a few recipes with some local chefs. Brian will not comment whether any of the bottles were opened during these "interviews".

The light, round, oniony dot of cornbread that's become one of Hudson's most popular trademarks, is the result of that trek.

Our resulting recipe is a secret. The story surrounding the field research is true!
